The Outpost Corral Ranch
Our
ranch is located in the northern panhandle of Idaho.
We work and condition our Rocky Mountain horses at the
ranch, on the adjoining mountain trails, and in our indoor arena.
The
family’s business is the promotion and marketing of the Rocky
Mountain Horse. We
only offer for sale horses that are under saddle.
Since we are not a breeding facility we periodically travel
to Kentucky to acquire “old fashion” type Rocky Mountain
horses. The horses we
bring home are the type of mounts that we enjoy and admire.
As a result of working with these horses we become attached
to them and genuinely endeavor to find them the right home.
We
cater to the person who wants to purchase a well-started Rocky
Mountain horse that can immediately be ridden on trails or shown.
To
our way of thinking people in the market for a horse want to know
a good deal about the horse that might interest them.
They would like to know specifically what the horse will
and will not do, the price of the horse, and as much about the
animal’s temperament and personality as they can.
Since our family members are the only people who care for
and condition our horses on a daily basis, we will share our
knowledge and impressions about each horse with folks searching
for the “right horse” for them.
Yes,
we do like what we do and we have made many great friends along
the way.
